teeth whitening and booty lifting

Didn't think those two things went together, didya?

Well they do because they are both things I need your advice on.

I have noticed that there is a direct correlation between the amount of studying I do and the color of my teeth.  Don't get me wrong - I have very good teeth hygiene.  My momma paid waaay too much money for orthodontia for me to neglect my toofers.  But, I drink a lot of coffee and the occasional soda. Especially with these dang night shifts I keep getting assigned.  And, OH YEAH, I'm getting married in less than 4 months and these pictures will be with us forever! Not to mention they are costing a pretty penny.

So I figure if I'm putting all these effort into eating mostly healthy and working out fairly regularly, then I should also put some effort into my teeth.

Tell me! What methods do you use for whitening your teeth?  I'm open to any and all suggestions, from the pinterest-inspired home concoctions to a kit to an in-office sesh.  However, my bank account suggests that I should start on the inexpensive side of the process. The way I see it if I start now which something that is inexpensive and may or may not work, then I have plenty of time to figure out how well it works and then resort to something expensive but immediate closer to the date, assuming my results aren't quite where I'd like them.

So hit me with your best shot! (fiiiire away... gotta love Pat Benatar!)

If you can give me something to do, I'll even post some progress pics along the way.  I know you guys love to see a #transformationTuesday and let's be real, everyone loves to see someone's before because it makes you feel better about yourself. 

Now what's this about booty lifting??

Well, it has been pointed out to me rather rudely might I add by my adoring fiancĂ© that my butt isn't quite what it used to be.  I'm lucky that B is an ass-man and he would prefer it err on the side of Kardashian rather than Moss. However, I want a tiny, perky, lifted booty.  Tiny being the key word.  Since working out and losing some weight, my butt has shrank. But now I'm feeling a little Miley-esque and ain't no body got time for that.

For reference, here is the range:

Has anyone out there tried one of those 30-Day Squat challenges... and seen actual results?  Or are there some targeted moves I can do? I love my Pure Barre workouts and they are helping, but not fast enough for me.  When I search this I get crazy results so I want to hear from real people!

  2. I recently started doing a lot of work out DVDS (mainly Jillian Michaels) and slowly but surely I saw a difference in my butt. I don't know when it happened so I can't give you a timeline but I do know that the videos I did had a lot of squats in them. I did the 30 day shred and the Banish Fat Boost Metabolism videos!

  3. My butt definitely lifted with all of the weighted squats I was doing at crossfit. I definitely suggest some deadlifts, snatches, and weighted squats. as for teeth whitening-- really white teeth freak me out but I will totally be doing an office treatment when I get married (errr if I ever do). I've never done any at home stuff because my teeth are really sensitive. But I think investing in an office treatment is worth it since, like you said, those pictures will be here forever. You have a few months to set aside some pennies. Unless you're like me and there are no pennies to set aside

  4. I love this combination :) Crest Whitestrips are my best friend, and so are wall sits. I do them while I brush my teeth!

  5. I really wish I could do the crest whitestrips but they KILL my teeth within 2-3 days. I've tried them several times over the past few years and it makes my teeth unbearably sensitive. GAH.

  6. I second Jacquelyn about CrossFit... It's such an amazing method. I do weighted squats, wall balls, lunges...etc. I also run a few miles a week.
    I have to say, I'm pretty proud of my booty.

    I've used Crest white-strips before and didn't notice much change.

  7. I love using Crest White strips and even when I was out of work I purchased the off brand from Wal-Mart and they worked just as well. That was almost 3 years ago so I don't know how well they work now or if they have changed anything. The other day I saw this little contraption for teeth whitening, it was made my Colgate (I think, not completely sure) but it was red and it had the purple light in it and whitening cream stuff and you use it daily or something like that and I am pretty sure it was only $30-$40. Might be worth a checkin into. As for the booty lift I too have been needing to work on that area. Would love to know if those pinterest challenges work too! By the way I am new follower :)

  8. For teeth whitening I use Listerine Whitening. Have you tried it? It's an easy pre-brush rinse. And as for booty, I'd take J Simpson any day. Even though I'm probably more like JLo!

  9. I guess you can achieve whiter teeth in four months’ time. I guess it is possible. Just look for a reliable and effective teeth whitening system that is right for you.
